Community Mock: Day Ten

By Adam Warwas

With the ninth pick of the NFL Draft, our Community Mock Draft sees the Carolina Panthers select defensive tackle Michael Brockers.

Next up is the tenth pick, which belongs to the Buffalo Bills (now owned by Mario Williams) and you never know what they are going to do.

We’ve had some trouble getting you all to leave comments of “analysis” for you picks to display on our results page.  Please, please, please leave some analysis for why you made the pick you did and we could use it in the mock.  Heck, if you want, leave us some analysis for the picks that have no analysis and I will add it retroactively.

  • With Bills just getting Mario Williams, they seems set at DE atm, I doubt the would draft another, and they might want to sure up their O-line with either the 3rd best tackle or grabbing the best Gaurd in the draft

  • Hello Adam, I'm glad to see you're writing again. I particularly liked your scouting insight. I was a daily reader of the Gab and was disappointed when you took your leave; hiatus. I say hiatus, instead of leave, because it appears you've returned to writing. I would check the Gab occasionally to see if you had contributed anything, nothing. Between an article every other day and commercials for phone services I stopped going to the Gab. I ended up at the Norseman for my Vikings fix. I was surprised to see your name associated with a write up for a 12 question round table with 3 other sites. Initially I thought you were writing for the Gab again, but then figured out you were writing for a new blog. This is ending up longer than anticipated, so to synopsize, glad you're back, I hope your family is healthy, I look forward to your draft insight, and SKOL VIKINGS!

    • 44,

Great to see you! I have indeed decided to keep up my hack blogger ways, but decided it best to continue at a site 100% owned and operated by myself and my partner-in-crime Brett Anderson. Take a look around... there is a bunch of good stuff here. Let us know what you think, get signed up for the forums. Mainly, just glad you found us!

      Adam

  • Welcome 44!

Adam, any more news on that Cook rumor? Glad to hear him SAYING he wants to take the straight and narrow... Talking and doing are two different things though.

  • De Gastro would be my pick. After signing Wiliams their D line is set (probably one of the best in the league with Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus) and they have a good secondary, so I think they go offence. In my opinion Trent Richardson is the best player available, but the fact they plan to resign Fred Jackson and drafted picked CJ Spiller in the top 10 only two years ago, I can't see him drafting another RB again. I think they either shore up the Oline (after investing so much in the QB-WR) with De Gastro or get some WR help like, Michael Floyd.
