Make Your Stance Known

By Adam Warwas

I won’t get into the politics and philosophy behind the stadium situation at this point, but as most of you know Monday is looking to be a very important day in the team’s ability to continue their tradition in Minnesota.

The Vikings organization has invited all of you to make your stance known by contacting Minnesota’s key representatives.

Adam Warwas (Founder) has been writing about the Vikings for a total of eight years. Five of those years have been here at Vikings Territory where he continues to surround himself with enough talented individuals that people keep coming back. As proud as he is of what Vikings Territory has become, his real treasures are in his home... a beautiful wife and three amazing children (and a dog named Percy).

  • I couldnt get anywhere with the link Adam posted but I went to the link Freds left in his comment and sent a polite email to Zellers. I think he is the key to getting something done anyway.

    • The links are working for me, so if anyone else is having issues let me know and I'll see if I can find an alternative.

      • Adam, it takes me to Vikes headlines but I couldnt get to any contact info. I clicked on the vikings.com link and then clicked on the contact link there and it sent me back to your link that didnt have any contact info. Weird!

  • Sent one letter to the certified knucklehead, Zellers, which I would not categorize as polite, johnny. Sent another to many I have worked with up there, much more professional in nature. I don't know that we can change Zeller's mind, other than to remind him that if this fails, he and his party will carry the responsibility for the Vikes leaving town. Wouldn't want that one on my resume'.

Let's face it. The name of the game is to help with public money whether any of us think its right or not. If we don't do it someone else will, and we will be left without a team. No, its not the end of the world, but a lot of employment, entertainment and tax revenue leaves town if they do. Not interested in being Des Minneapolis/St. Paul. Pass the bill, folks.

    • Haha Coach my email to Zellers was kinda polite but on the other hand very direct as well. Freds would be proud!

  • Hitler ...................... Stalin...................Zellers........................................................Porky..........!

    some cats are just bad

  • Good luck with a reelection if the Vikes leave town and your name is on the "voted no" list. As they say "that's gonna leave a mark."

  • Use the addresses of any US building Spaceclown. I'm Canadian and I just used my American shipping address

  • I got responses from two legislators who said they are voting yes, one of which I was a little surprised at. They claim its going to be close, and Dayton's veto of the tax bill didn't help. I wish they would stay away from that kind of crap, but it goes on. I know they are getting hit hard from both sides, but in the end they are still going to have to ask themselves if they want to be on record as voting to send the Vikings packing. If you're going to push the red button, you better be ready for the effect. I predict it will pass the House tomorrow, but if it doesn't, don't be surprised if there is a flag on the play and fourth down is somehow replayed.

  • Well to all you local Minnesota boys', I sure hope you get to keep the team in Minnesota.
I'll keep my fingers crossed. Having never lived there, I certainly don't have the angst a lot of you guys have but even so, it'd be a real punch to the belly if they moved out of Minnesota.
Good luck guys and be sure to call/write your Legislators, it really makes a difference to those Cats!

  • With Fran on this,
Wish I could vote, Can't picture the team anywhere but in Minnesota,,,
Really hope the team stays in Minnesota Guys...
