Adam WarwasAdam Warwas (Founder) has been writing about the Vikings for a total of eight years. Five of those years have been here at Vikings Territory where he continues to surround himself with enough talented individuals that people keep coming back. As proud as he is of what Vikings Territory has become, his real treasures are in his home... a beautiful wife and three amazing children (and a dog named Percy).

The 1984 season was much more embarassing than this past one. Although a quality man, it was apparent very early that Les Steckel was not going to be the long term successor as head coach for the Vikes. The team was in real disarray by the end of the season, and I applaud the discreetness of the players interviewed for this story. I visited Les in his Fellowship of Christian Athletes office in Kansas City a few years ago. He is the president of that organization, and a real class act. 1984 was obviously very tough on him, but he moved onward and upward very nicely.
