The trial regarding charges against Vikings cornerback Chris Cook still appears to be up in the air.
While the victim, Cook’s girlfriend Chantel Baker, has recanted her claim that Cook tried to strangle her during an October 22nd incident the prosecution has brought a number of witnesses to the stand to point out her story change.
A police officer, a doctor, and a paramedic all testified that Baker claimed she had been choked that night.
These testimonies will continue to fuel speculation that Baker is feeling pressure to protect Cook’s NFL career by taking responsibility herself for the physical altercation.

Yes sir! We will try and have a post up about it tonight. Not a surprising move but it would be worth discussing the effects on cap room.
On another note, I wanted to let everyone know that you may not see many updates from me the next couple weeks. I broke my finger a couple weeks ago and had surgery on it a few days ago. In a lot of pain and it's difficult to type. I'll do my best though!

It was time for these two to go. Freds wishes them well, but keeping them would make us worse, not better. They were both below average and no promise of improvement.
