Vikings 2023 Depth Chart as of Mid-March

The Vikings Top Players from Best to Worst: After Week 14
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports.

The Minnesota Vikings have added three new notable players this March, including Josh Oliver (TE, Ravens), Marcus Davenport (EDGE, Saints), and Byron Murphy (CB, Cardinals).

Cameron Dantzler (CB, Commanders), Eric Kendricks (LB, Chargers), Patrick Peterson (CB, Steelers), Adam Thielen (WR, TBD), and Dalvin Tomlinson (DT, Browns) have exited the franchise, so next September will feel a bit weird no matter how one perceives.

But Minnesota does have enough players to field a 53-man football team, a tally that will grow to 90 men by the summer. For now, here’s the Vikings depth chart with the NFL draft six weeks away.

By Friday, other verdicts are expected for players like Dalvin Cook and Za’Darius Smith. Each could be traded, released, or stay with the franchise. Betting money tends to suggest at least one will depart. Free agency is also ongoing, and more players will be added to the depth chart before the draft.

The Vikings are scheduled to pick five times in April’s draft, although general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah may trade like a stock broker again.
