I was a wreck last Sunday. Plain and simple. No doubt about it, that game against the Packers with what was at stake and Peterson’s attempt at the single season rushing record made it an instant classic.

Needless to say, this week has been difficult too. I know that the team has already exceeded everyone’s expectations and now everything else is just icing on the cake. But, I can’t get over this feeling that the Vikes can pull this thing off tomorrow. And I’m going to go out on a limb here and make a bold prediction. If the Vikings beat the Packers tomorrow we will advance to the NFC championship. There, I said it.

Today has been dragging. Tomorrow will be worse. And honestly, half the time I’m just daydreaming about the Vikings winning it all this year.
So, formulating a cohesive article right now just seems out of the question. Instead, I thought it would be fun to pretend to be everyone’s favorite Vikings blogger, Adam Warwas, and field some questions from you all.

So, let me have it. Leave your questions in the comments and I’ll respond by tomorrow morning.

Brett Anderson (Founder) is a passionate Viking fan hailing from Sin City, Las Vegas. He can remember, as a child, scraping his knee on the playground and his friends being completely shocked by the purple blood trickling from the wound. When Brett isn't scouring the Internet for some semblance of Vikings news, he enjoys blindly putting money on them to beat whoever their opponent may be, and daydreams about being their next Tight End. Brett graduated from UNLV with a degree in Architecture and specializes in web/graphic design; he hopes to provide this site’s visitors with the best Vikings experience on the net.

  1. If the packers focus on peterson tomm night at what point would u try to do a trick play for that one big play

    • The reason i say adrian peterson is mvp is bc last year tim teabow took denver to the postseason and beat pittsburgh we were 3 13 and to come over a major knee surgery rush for 2000 yards and push the vikes to playoffs says y he should be mvp

  2. Brett, on a scale of 1-10 (one being the head of a pin, ten – the grand canyon) what was the size of your sphincter when Blair Walsh lined up for the game winning field goal?

After the game, Kluwe said he considered bobbling the snap so Peterson would have overtime to break the rushing record.

Hau’oli makahiki hou to my old buddy Krug Jr.

  3. Brett,Since Jordy Nelson auditioned for the Vikings last week, with his big game. Do you think maybe he drops a few passes tomorrow night to help his future team out?

  4. Brett, should the Vikings trade Jared Allen while he still has value? Griffen needs to be on the field every play in my opinion. He is a beast.

  5. Brett, I know this is early for draft talk, but right before free agency what position should the Vikings focus on first? Or should Vikings go best available player?

  6. Brett, what do you think about A.J. Jefferson? Some games he has looked good, and made some plays. Some games he still looks a little raw.

    • Domes, Cal. I love domes. Not so much the inflatable Metrodome types, but permanent, concrete domes. Common sense to the max.

  7. Mr Anderson,

    1. Is it a crime to drink leines during the game being that it’s brewed in Wisconsin?
    2. Who has better hair, clay Matthews or Brian Robison?
    3. same as 2 but Brett Anderson or Adam?
    And the big one
    4. Should AD be allowed to play on special teams? He’s asking to and was a great returner in 07 not to mention it’s giving him the ball in open space.

  8. we’re built around AD…what round do we pick AD Jr so we are ready if he goes down with major injury next year?

  9. Ole…..and a Happy one to you and yours too! Hang on to your boogie board, my sun tanned friend…we’ve been on quite a ride since we last talked…..got to admit, coaching staff did more with less talent than I thought possible, and I’ve always used that as an example of good coaching…..Frazier does have these guys coming together with great “team” effort, something I never felt chilly could do…..GO VIKES!!!!!

  10. I cannot believe what just happened. I woke up this morning and worked on responses for over an hour. My computer froze and I just lost ALL OF IT. Not a good start to the day.

Sorry guys, responses are going to have to come later. I was literally just fine tuning and getting ready to post and *poof*! Gone.

I’ll come back to a majority of them later after the game.

Sorry again guys. I really enjoyed it. Can’t believe I have to write all that over again.

  11. Game Day! Peterson, Rogers, Ponder, Jennings, etc. etc., blah, blah The game of football is decided on the line of scrimmage. If Ponder has time to throw and AD is offered holes instead of making them, the Vikings are in great shape. If Rodgers has time to throw, we don’t see much of Allen, Williams, Griffen and Robison, and Raji spends the day waving his finger, not so good. The big guys are gonna decide the game.

Question: Will we see anything “new” from the Vikings today?

  12. I’m on my phone right now so I can’t do a post, but for those of you into conspiracy theories: Rumors are starting to heat up that Webb is getting the start tonight.

Smoke? Probably… But keep an eye out.

    • WOW! That would certainly be something “new”. Either it’s smoke, or the Vikes have been quite coy about this elbow injury.

  13. I’m not sure I heard this correctly this morning. Is it true that Andy Reid was given the power in Kansas City to hire HIS General Manager? Funny, I always thought the coached worked FOR the General Manager. Maybe I heard wrong – any confirmation on this Brett?

    • I think the official statement was that the Chiefs and the GM mutually agreed to “part ways.” Not sure of the involvement Reid will have in selecting a new GM. Instincts tell me that it will be large, though, as they most have done something to steal him away from Arizona so quickly.
