wtfvikesfan (458)I was a wreck last Sunday. Plain and simple. No doubt about it, that game against the Packers with what was at stake and Peterson’s attempt at the single season rushing record made it an instant classic.
Needless to say, this week has been difficult too. I know that the team has already exceeded everyone’s expectations and now everything else is just icing on the cake. But, I can’t get over this feeling that the Vikes can pull this thing off tomorrow. And I’m going to go out on a limb here and make a bold prediction. If the Vikings beat the Packers tomorrow we will advance to the NFC championship. There, I said it.
Today has been dragging. Tomorrow will be worse. And honestly, half the time I’m just daydreaming about the Vikings winning it all this year.
So, formulating a cohesive article right now just seems out of the question. Instead, I thought it would be fun to pretend to be everyone’s favorite Vikings blogger, Adam Warwas, and field some questions from you all.
So, let me have it. Leave your questions in the comments and I’ll respond by tomorrow morning.

The reason i say adrian peterson is mvp is bc last year tim teabow took denver to the postseason and beat pittsburgh we were 3 13 and to come over a major knee surgery rush for 2000 yards and push the vikes to playoffs says y he should be mvp

I cannot believe what just happened. I woke up this morning and worked on responses for over an hour. My computer froze and I just lost ALL OF IT. Not a good start to the day.

Nevermind! I was able to find an autosave. Phew. Crisis averted.
Game Day! Peterson, Rogers, Ponder, Jennings, etc. etc., blah, blah The game of football is decided on the line of scrimmage. If Ponder has time to throw and AD is offered holes instead of making them, the Vikings are in great shape. If Rodgers has time to throw, we don’t see much of Allen, Williams, Griffen and Robison, and Raji spends the day waving his finger, not so good. The big guys are gonna decide the game.
Question: Will we see anything “new” from the Vikings today?

WOW! That would certainly be something “new”. Either it’s smoke, or the Vikes have been quite coy about this elbow injury.
I’m not sure I heard this correctly this morning. Is it true that Andy Reid was given the power in Kansas City to hire HIS General Manager? Funny, I always thought the coached worked FOR the General Manager. Maybe I heard wrong – any confirmation on this Brett?
I think the official statement was that the Chiefs and the GM mutually agreed to “part ways.” Not sure of the involvement Reid will have in selecting a new GM. Instincts tell me that it will be large, though, as they most have done something to steal him away from Arizona so quickly.
