Our Official Staff Playoff Prediction for Giants at Vikings

By Dustin Baker

The VikingsTerritory collective staff prediction for New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings is ready.

The Vikings can win their first playoff game in three years, last defeating the New Orleans Saints on the road in 2019. Too, Minnesota hasn’t hosted a playoff game at U.S. Bank Stadium since 2017 against those same Saints, so this weekend’s tryst with New York is long overdue.

The Giants reached the postseason after finishing in third place behind the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the NFC North. New York’s roster isn’t overly daunting, but first-year head coach Brian Daboll weaponized a hungry group of men to drag the Giants to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

The writers at VikingsTerritory predict the Vikings will win their first playoff game of the Kevin O’Connell era.

The group unanimously picked the Vikings, evidently confident that Minnesota won’t fall prey to various upset sentiments circulating in NFL media circles.
