  • I'm curious to see how the Vikings use Griffen. His natural position is LDE but that's occupied by Hunter. I expect he will start the season coming in for Weatherly at RDE on obvious passing plays. If he does well, I assume he'll start at RDE. I'm looking forward to the season starting.

    • His natural position may be LDE, but he started for six years at RDE.

I actually expect the Weatherly/Griffen rotation to continue all year, probably at RDE, though I wouldn't be shocked if they sometimes flipped them and Hunter.

  • @Thomas Pankratz ... Thankfully Beebe is gone. Yet another injury which means a guy who can actually be productive at wide receiver 3 will take over. Either Westbrook or Osborne or both.

    • Osborn. No "e." He should start out at the WR3 and Dede will have to take the job from him.

  • Why would ISM not be the kick returner? He literally had a better return in both kick and punt in one preseason game then the Vikes did all of last year. In 16 games. Lolz. Silly goose.

    • Yeah, I expect ISM to get the first shot as both the PR and KR. Osborn may have more than enough to do on the offense as the WR3, and Nwangwu is still at least three games away from playing.
