In my lifetime I’ve only ever missed one Minnesota Vikings training camp, the year was 2005 and my favorite player Randy Moss had been traded for some magic beans and a speedy wide receiver from the lesser of the two Carolinas. Because of COVID, I figured I’d tell my grandchildren that I also missed this year’s camp.
Now, thanks to the fact that the Vikings have announced “Vikings Training Camp Live”, I both won’t have to miss camp and will have to think of a new icebreaker for my future grandchildren.
Should be a fun time as the broadcast will feature many familiar faces covering things, as well as more unfamiliar faces on the field than we’re accustomed to in Zimmerland.
