The Vikings Offseason Schedule: A Look Ahead to 2018

Now that the Super Bowl is over, let’s take a look ahead at some key offseason dates for the Vikings:

February

February 5th: 2018 waiver system begins

February 20th: First day to designate franchise or transition players

February 27th – March 5th: Scouting Combine (Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN)

March

March 6th: Deadline to apply franchise or transition tags (3pm CST)

March 12th: Teams may begin negotiating with unrestricted free agents

March 14th: Free agency begins (3pm CST)

April

April 2nd: Teams with new head coaches may begin offseason workout programs

April 16th: Teams with returning head coaches may begin offseason workout programs

April 20th: Deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets

April 26th – April 28th: NFL Draft (AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX)
