Great job as always fellas! I believe Boone was no longer a fit with the zone blocking scheme. Easton seems to be a better fit with the new zone run scheme. Also showed good in pass pro this camp & preseason alongside Elflein so I believe all of those things came into play as well.
I too am very excited about Brock! He'll solidify that secondary and keep the defense dominant. May take him a few weeks to get up to speed but long term it will work out very well IMO.
Thanks for the comment, jasonwrbr. I'm not completely on board w/ cutting Boone given the lack of depth, but if locker room problems are indeed happening it's best to kill them before they spread. And yes, I like Brock and I like that the Vikings went out and got a guy for the slot CB position.
