Links of the Week: Workout Warriors

It seems as though the stream of Minnesota Vikings news has reached its slow period at this point in the NFL offseason. Soon enough, the NFL Draft will be taking place and the first sessions of offseason workouts will begin.

Even with the lack of news, there still seems to be plenty of topics to explore within the Vikings world.

• A champion was finally crowned in Draft Season’s bracket featuring Minnesota’s last 32 first round selections. Was it an upset?

• The Vikings could follow a few different paths when it comes time for them to make their first round selection in this year’s NFL Draft. Is there a position that the team must prioritize over others when making their first pick?

• The strange battle between Minnesota’s US Bank Stadium and Wells Fargo took another turn this week, but it may finally lead to a resolution.

• Does the Vikings hiring of former offensive coordinator’s Pat Shurmur and Tony Sparano this offseason spell the end of the Norv Turner era in Minnesota?

• The NFL released the 2016 preseason schedule earlier this week, including a date for when the very first football game will take place in the Vikings new stadium.

• Will the latest rule change relating to kickoff returns alter Minnesota’s approach to one of the league’s most exciting plays?

• Drafting Randy Moss in 1998 seemed like a risky move at the time for the Vikings, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions in the franchise’s history.
