Danielle’s Game Day Dish: Bye Week

By Adam Patrick

Written by Adam’s wife, Danielle

Another win in the bag!

The Vikings are doing amazingly well this season being 5-0 and the only undefeated team in the league (thank you Eagles and Broncos for losing). We are giving every other team a run for their money and having one of the best seasons we have had in a long time.

There is no game this week meaning the team should be well rested next week to continue to win every game but just because the team is resting, doesn’t mean our tummy’s need to rest.

This week I picked milkshakes because they are so easy to make and something a lot of people don’t think about making on their own. The other great thing about milkshakes is that since they are so quick and easy to make, they can easily be personalized so everyone can have the type of milkshake they want.

Adam loves animal crackers and therefore wanted an animal cracker milkshake and I made myself a cookies n’ cream milkshake. I literally tossed everything in the blender, mixed it up, and served them – They are THAT easy. Although I have an exact recipe below, I didn’t even use it. I just scooped, poured, and tossed everything in the blender and called it a day.

Since I know everyone loves milkshakes, let me know what your favorites are in the comments below! Don’t forget to check out Adam’s twitter (@Str8_Cash_Homey) for all the Vikings news you need and to see sneak peaks of game day dishes coming up. See you next week for another delicious dish!

XOXO

  • Oreos
    • I put 4 in my milkshake and used 1 to garnish with

Adam has been rooting for the Vikings ever since he saw Randall Cunningham win NFC Special Teams Player of the week in 1997. Since his career sports highlights include 3rd place at 5th Grade Golf Camp and catching a ball during a soccer game (he was not playing goalie), Adam turned to writing. He considers himself a 'Vikings Realist' as he does not shy away from criticizing the purple and gold if necessary. He will not always write about the popular topics, but his goal is to provide readers with content they cannot find anywhere else. Follow him on Twitter @Str8_Cash_Homey

    MIA: Sure did.

VINCENT: A shake? Milk and ice cream?

    MIA: Uh-huh.

    VINCENT: It costs five dollars?

    MIA: Yep.

VINCENT: You don't put bourbon in it or anything?

    WAITER: Nope.

    VINCENT: Just checking.

VINCENT: Can I have a sip of that? I'd like to know what a five-dollar shake tastes like.

MIA: Be my guest. You can use my straw, I don't have kooties.

VINCENT: Yeah, but maybe I do.

    MIA: Kooties I can handle.

    VINCENT: Go****n! That's a pretty f****n' good milk shake.

    MIA: Told ya.

VINCENT: I don't know if it's worth five dollars, but it's pretty f****n' good.
