After a busy offseason for the Minnesota Vikings that included moving into a new headquarters, landing two prolific free agents, losing an offensive lineman to a season-ending injury, trading for a center, dishing out extensions and going 3-1 in the preseason, it’s finally time to set the regular season roster.
The Vikings add some depth to the interior of the offensive line. The Minnesota Vikings on Sunday traded an undisclosed 2019 draft pick for center Brett Jones. Jones, 27, was acquired from the New York Giants.
The Vikings claimed former Atlanta Falcons fullback Luke McNitt off of waivers Tuesday. McNitt, who played college football at Nebraska, was signed by Atlanta as an undrafted free agent in May. He was waived by the Falcons on Monday.
The team has filled 88 of 90 roster spots. The Vikings continued filling out the roster after five openings were created Monday. Another offensive lineman, center Jacob Judd, was signed on Tuesday.

The Minnesota Vikings officially placed offensive lineman Nick Easton on injured reserve Monday. Easton is likely out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck. In a corresponding roster move, the team signed guard Kaleb Johnson.
Quinn spent minicamp with the Indianapolis Colts. The Minnesota Vikings signed center J.P. Quinn Tuesday. Quinn played collegiately at Central Michigan. He started 27 games, playing both center and guard. Quinn is listed at 6-foot-4, 295 pounds.
The Minnesota Vikings replaced a depth piece on the defensive line today, inking tackle David Parry to a free-agent contract. To make room for Parry, the Vikings released defensive tackle Dylan Bradley. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported the signing Wednesday.
The offseason roster stands at a maximum 90 players.
