As the Minnesota Vikings took the practice field for the second time in preparation of their Week 16 matchup at Ford Field in Detroit, a key member of the defense was added to the injury report.After being listed as a full participant on Wednesday, defensive tackle Linval Joseph missed practice on Thursday with a knee injury. Joseph became the second defensive starter to miss practice this week.
The Minnesota Vikings began preparations for their Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions looking rather healthy as a team. At practice at TCO Performance Center in Eagan on Wednesday only one player was listed as a non-participant.
Well, this won’t be the week that the Vikings get Chad Beebe back. Even though the rookie wide receiver returned to practice this week he was officially ruled out on Friday. Beebe will miss his fourth consecutive contest with a hamstring injury. He was a limited participant in both Thursday and Friday’s sessions after missing Wednesday’s practice.
All of a sudden the Minnesota Vikings are healthy. Every player on the active roster participated in today’s practice session at TCO Performance Center in Eagan.The only player to miss Wednesday’s practice, wide receiver Chad Beebe, rejoined the team as a limited participant on Thursday. The Vikings had two big-name starters listed on Friday’s injury report. Cornerback Xaver Rhodes and wide receiver Stefon Diggs were officially listed as questionable. Still, it’s looking likely that both will be able to take the field Sunday against the Patriots.
