The Minnesota Vikings continue to stay active during the latter portion of free agency this offseason. Recently the team signed offensive linemen Josh Kline and Dakota Dozier and also picked up former AAF defensive backs Derron Smith and Duke Thomas. Today, news broke that they will be signing quarterback Sean Mannion. Even so, it appears they’re still not done adding.

With only two quarterbacks on the roster since the departure of Trevor Siemian, the Vikings have been looking to add another arm to the rotation. By the looks of it, Kirk Cousins and Kyle Sloter could get some company next week.According to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, free agent quarterback Sean Mannion (6-6, 223) will visit with the Vikings on Monday. Mannion was drafted in the third round (89th overall) by the Rams in 2015. Naturally, he traveled from St. Louis to Los Angeles with the team.

On Wednesday the Minnesota Vikings announced that they would be signing Former Titans’ guard Josh Kline to a three-year contract. Kline has spent the previous three seasons in Tennessee as their starting at right guard, and will likely be playing the same position for the Vikings in 2019. Coming off of a down year, fans and scouts alike wonder if the Vikings will see Kline play to his higher potential, or follow up a sub-par 2018 season with a similar performance. Despite playing all 16 games, Kline did suffer an injury in October of last year in a game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Vikings certainly are hoping that his performance issues last year were related to playing through this injury.
