PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: June 6th, 2026

1) A Year Later, The Vikings Can Re-Sign the Draft Pick Who Got Away: Linebacker Kobe King isn’t the world’s best athlete. He may nevertheless have a role to play on a winning football team. Best case appears to be carving out snaps as an early-down thumper and as someone to gobble up tackles on specials.

2) The Rob Brzezinski Verdict is In: In a lot of ways, the Vikings made the sensible decision. Promoting Brzezinski before seeing things go poorly would lead to an awkward scenario of possibly needing to fire him. In his current job, he can thrive while possibly getting a touch more influence when the GM is making the final call.

3) ESPN Insider Shares Some Vikings QB Nuggets: So much remains to be determined. What is known is that the competition is down to a pair of passers: Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy. Week 1 isn’t as far off as most realize even as the bulk of the quarterback battle is still in the coming weeks and months.

4) Looks Like the Vikings Have their First Summer Darling: The summer is the season for overreacting. Every so often, though, the hype proves to be well founded. Maybe that applies to the “summer darling” who is looking to see his job grow.

5) NFL Voices Insist J.J. McCarthy is Already Being Left for Dead: Some think that the battle is already done. I am not among them. Anyone can see that Mr. Murray is the favorite. But, to be sure, there’s a competition for a reason. Don’t count the kid out just yet.
