PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
1) Once-Promising Linebacker Has Apparently Been Demoted: The final chapter hasn’t been written for Brian Asamoah. One wonders if he’ll get a shot to show off a bit in 2024. Yes, he’s a bit smaller, but he has wheels. Don’t be shocked if the end of 2024 involves Asamoah doing some good things in the Brian Flores defense.
2) Speedy Vikings WR Challenged by Kevin O’Connell: Jalen Nailor has loads of potential. The issue in his career is that he has been battling injuries. There’s an opening at WR3, meaning there’s a shot that the young receiver can grow his role.
3) One Vikings Acquisition Deserves More Buzz: The linebacker has a shot at making a large impact. Jordan Hicks is a rock-solid player but Blake Cashman is younger and faster. Any chance he offers much better pass coverage?
4) The Vikings’ QB Trade Rumor and The Offseason Ahead: The Vikings can’t keep four QBs on their final roster. So, what’s the solution? Simply cutting a player would mean losing someone for nothing. Any chance the GM who loves to trade puts together a trade?
5) 2 Ex-Vikings Could Fill an Opening on Current Vikings: The running back operation is pretty lean. Seeing one of Aaron Jones or Ty Chandler go down with injury would put Minnesota in a bad spot. Maybe they lean on a former RB to help patch up the depth a bit more.
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
