Vikings Players’ Reactions to Win Over Patriots

Vikings Depth Chart, Week 13 vs. Jets

Four days after all of the air was let out of the Minnesota Vikings franchise following a massively disappointing defeat to the Dallas Cowboys, belief was restored after an exciting and effective offensive display against the New England Patriots, running out the victors by a score of 33-26. It wasn’t so convincing on the defensive side, but they stepped up once again when it mattered most.

Your Minnesota Vikings are now 9-2 and sure to end Kevin O’Connell’s first season as head coach with a winning record.

Vikings Players’ Reactions

Twitter was a happier place on Thursday night than the previous Sunday, and these players took to the social media platform after the game — to celebrate, thank the fans, and in Chandon Sullivan’s case, clear up any doubt surrounding the Hunter Henry touchdown that wasn’t.

Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson responded to his new biggest fan. Jefferson tweets from Lebron James during Vikings games are becoming a regular occurrence.

T.J. Hockenson

The deadline-day trade for T.J. Hockenson is already looking like a shrewd piece of business for Minnesota. The tight end has slipped seamlessly into the team and the organization’s culture. The Vikings have won three of their four games since Hockenson arrived, so it’s no wonder he’s enjoying his new surroundings.

Hockenson spoke after the game about what it’s like to take to the field with Jefferson as a teammate and how he opens the game up for others. The same is also true for Hockenson. His presence has improved the Vikings offense by default. The fact that he already has 26 catches for 192 yards and his first touchdown pass after just four weeks with the team has been an incredible start.

Moving On from Dallas Game

After a game like last week’s debacle against Dallas, a short week and quick turnaround was an excellent chance to get the bad taste out of your mouth from a bad performance. Of course, that only works if you win the next game, which the Vikings did. They can now have well-earned rest before preparing to take on the New York Jets a week on Sunday.

Having not been invited to eat the turkey, Patrick Peterson ensured he got some.

Congratulations from the Legends

We finish with a couple of Hall of Fame legends enjoying their team’s joyous season.
