Minnesota Vikings Podcast: Burn the Tape

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports.

On the most recent episode of Notes from the North – a humble Minnesota Vikings podcast from yours truly and Sam – we discuss how Minnesota should understand the brutal loss to Dallas. It’s safe to say that the game didn’t go according to plan for Kevin O’Connell and the team. Perhaps it’s a good thing that they’ll have a short week; the next game takes place on Thursday when the Patriots come to town.

Take a look at what Sam has to say about the game: “Kyle and Sam break down a forgettable performance the Vikings had against the Cowboys. They discuss how you move forward, if there were any positives, and then turned the attention to the Patriots on Thursday night and what to watch for there.”

Given how poorly the game went and how soon the next game will be, Sam and I agree that it’s not beneficial to spend too much time dwelling on the Dallas defeat. Rather, begin preparing for what will be a tough test against Bill Belichick’s group. O’Connell needs to get his squad back on track in a hurry.

Sam also takes a few moments toward the end to offer a bit of a Minnesota Wild update. Both of us are hockey fans, and we know that many people who follow the Vikings also follow the Wild. Hopefully, the brief hockey talk is something that people enjoy.

Folks who are into Vikings podcasts or think they’d like to get into Vikings podcasts should feel free to give Notes from the North a shot. Hop over to iTunes, Spotify, or Podbean. My understanding is that you don’t need an account at these spots. Just press play and enjoy the pod.

Enjoy the listening, Vikings fan.
