Betting money is that Spielman will find a way to get a 2nd-Rounder.
2 weeks from now I pray to the football gods that I’m waking up with the Vikings having a 2nd round pick. #TradeBack

EDGE rusher rankings from Joe Marino. The Vikings need one.
Check out @TheJoeMarino's updated EDGE Big Board that has been expanded to include 30 (!) prospects. See how Joe ranks them and who has draftable grades.#FrontOffice33 | #NFLDrafthttps://t.co/dVpLswUJsd

This guy is now on the market. Although, the Vikings have Dalvin Tomlinson at 3DT.

Lane Taylor — another offensive guard — is gone.
Source: Former #Packers starting guard Lane Taylor has agreed to terms on a 1-year deal with the #Texans, reuniting with his former GB OL coach James Campen. Taylor is coming off an ACL, but will be good to go for training camp.

A Vikings draft mind says not to expect the team to actually pick at #14.
The closer we get to draft day, the more I believe the Vikings won’t be picking at 14. If Sewell falls, a small trade up. Otherwise, a trade down to target edge or LT. Ideally, the Vikings still somehow end up with a blue chip player

DE or OL? That is the debate.
Defensive end is a massive need. #Vikings

Reiterating the hypothetical Orlando Brown trade.
the more im thinking about it, the more im 90% sure Orlando Brown will be traded to the Vikings IF he gets traded.

Folks continue to be fascinated with this mutant.
Would love for the #Vikings to nab this dude in the second round.

Been 15 years.
I believe we always jokingly say at this time of year that the Vikings "feel like a 9-7 team."
They haven't finished 9-7 since 2005. ??♂️

Handsy RBs.
NFL teams with highest catch rates (catches/targets) by running backs in 2020:
Colts .851
Panthers .833
Chargers .827
Bengals .824
Seahawks .818
Vikings .806
Cardinals .800
Jets .796
Bears .795
Dolphins .793— Greg Auman (@gregauman) April 13, 2021
A WR to watch. Why? The Vikings need a WR3.
#Tennessee’s Josh Palmer had 101 snaps vs. likely top-three round CBs: Surtain, Horn, Campbell, Stokes and Joseph.
14 of 14 in catching the “catchable balls” in those matchups (per PFF), 11 first downs, 4 TDs, and 16 YPR.

Mond now tickling the 1st Round pecking order?
My surprise R1 pick is Kellen Mond to the Saints at 28. Wouldn’t be surprised if he went even earlier, like Bears at 20.

Theodore Bridgewater reunion chatter won’t die until he signs elsewhere.
A new #Vikings mailbag from @Andrew_Krammer: Chances for a Teddy Bridgewater reunion? Which line can wait in the draft? A question about the kicking game. https://t.co/iFIsQm68SH pic.twitter.com/O1FgxsWH0V

Versatility.
Versatility is key: #Oregon LT Penei Sewell, the Draft’s consensus top OT, has been training at right tackle as well as left tackle (which he played in college). Sewell is preparing for the possibility that someone with an entrenched LT drafts him & puts him at RT for a year.

Coller pumps the brakes.
Ask the Vikings how easy it is to find the next Danielle Hunter…we hear his name every draft and nobody ever becomes Danielle Hunter https://t.co/odOzh7baoA

More on the Raider DT that is available.
If the #Vikes were to somehow get him, I gotta say an interior DL rotation of him, Pierce, and Tomlinson would be pretty damn stout.
I’d be shocked if it happened, but I would love it. https://t.co/qSr7eQEoBh

A gut feeling on Lance.
I am going out on a limb and stating that if Trey Lance gets close to the Vikings pick, that he'll be the choice. No inside information, but a gut feeling that they love him.

Optimum Scouting prognostications.
#NFLDraft Predictions
Three I'd be surprised if they go 1st round despite being Mocked there: Jamin Davis, Nick Bolton, Jayson Oweh, Gregory Rousseau
Four I expect to go in the 1st despite being in fewer Mocks: Rashod Bateman, Carlos Basham, Alex Leatherwood, Creed Humphrey

This news was not on the bingo card.
#Browns have released DT Sheldon Richardson. Rough timing now instead of earlier, but he should have a market.

House with thoughts.
If the #Vikings pick Benjamin St-Juste, they could take advantage of his versatility.
I asked him if teams were interested in using him at safety. St-Juste said it has come up. He got some reps there at the Senior Bowl.
I could see him fitting in a big nickel package as well. https://t.co/u1QtLuyq0n

Gladney news. It’s been a while since breadcrumbs dropped on this matter.
#Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney’s court appearance in Dallas County on May 12 is a bond hearing, following his arrest on felony domestic assault allegations earlier this month. Charges have not been filed in the case yet, according to Dallas County court.
