Josh Doctson Placed on IR

Vikings fans were very excited to see the news that Josh Doctson had signed with the team. Doctson had prior chemistry with Kirk Cousins, and he was thought to have been the receiver the Vikings wanted instead of Laquon Treadwell. Now, two weeks after signing with the Vikings, Doctson will be headed to the IR.

Doctson has been dealing with a leg injury since he signed. He was inactive against the Falcons and hasn’t practiced with the Vikings. The young wide out will be eligible for a return later this season.

The Vikings have called up corner-back Nate Meadors from their practice squad. It appears the Vikings will roll into Lambeau Field with only four wide receivers.
