Reports: Aaron Rodgers to Play vs. Vikings Barring Setback
According to multiple sources and first reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will start today against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers was listed as questionable on Friday due to an injured leg. The injury, a sprained left knee, caused “significant pain and swelling” according to Rapoport. Despite the discomfort, Rodgers plans to play Sunday barring a setback in pregame warmups.
Absent a setback, #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will start today vs the #Vikings, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. He’s still sore and swollen because of a sprained knee, but sounded like practice Saturday impressed everyone. Should be good to go.

Rodgers suffered the injury in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears but was able to return to the game after halftime. He was able to practice for the first time this week on Saturday. The knee issue will cause Rodgers to have limited mobility for quite some time.
In fact, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the injury could take up to two months to heal. The Vikings’ next game against the Packers is Week 12 (November 25th).
It was later reported by Rapoport that Packers wide receiver Davante Adams will play today after being listed as questionable on Friday. Here’s a look at the full injury report for each team.
