According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs experienced swelling in his knee overnight. Schefter reported Diggs will need to test the knee before the game in order to determine whether or not he will play againt New England.

Diggs was officially listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. He was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a limited participant on Friday. On Thursday he told media he would play. Now with this setback, he’ll be a game-time decision against the Patriots on Sunday.

If Diggs is unable to play, the Vikings will roll with receivers Adam Thielen, Laquon Treadwell, Aldrick Robinson and possibly Brandon Zylstra (questionable w/foot injury). Chad Beebe has already been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Running back Ameer Abdullah was spotted working from the slot in practice this week so he could be an option if the team needs another receiver.

Cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, is also said to be a game-time decision. We’ll provide an update when the team announces the inactive players prior to kickoff (~2pm).
