Vikings-Jaguars Recap: A Florida Man [PODCAST]

The Minnesota Fightin’ Vikings completed the first 25% of Operation Win Out, downing the Jacksonville Jaguars 25-16 Sunday at Historic Everbank Field. Sam Bradford and the offense opened things up deep, but still had familiar short-yardage struggles that kept this game closer than it should have been. Oh, and the defense is still pretty pretty pretty good.

  1. I actually thought Harris might start this year in place of Sendejo, but the latter seems to have really come on this year and cemented himself in the position. I also think Zimmer likes having two safeties on the field that he can use interchangeably, as opposed to a classic strong safety/free safety arrangement.

With you on Clemmings and Thielen, but I wouldn’t be so quick to let Floyd go, especially since we’ve got him at his fifth year tender price next year. Not sure about Whitworth, but if he doesn’t break the bank, maybe, maybe, and it would allow us to draft a linebacker, middle or outside, along with a couple of offensive linemen. Honestly, we should re-sign Munnerlyn, T. Johnson and, if he’s willing, Newman, too.
