Fire Reported at New Vikings Stadium—Not A Big Deal

Minnesota’s local CBS affiliate has reported that a fire broke out during the construction of the new Vikings Stadium (or US Bank Stadium). It’s not a big deal:

The construction firm working on project confirmed there had been fire, which workers extinguished immediately.

The workers were welding metal decks and sparks fell onto nearby insulation material, said a representative from Mortenson.

The representative said no one was injured in the incident and work continued immediately afterward.

The image of the fire (linked in story) looks bad, but is just the result of insulation burning.
