  1. You seemed to miss how last year the Packers broke with their typical MO and signed Peppers last year, or how the Patriots paid big money to sign Revis last year. You don’t have to “win” FA, but ignoring holes is not a good strategy either. I’m tired of being told because I wanted Spielman to at least get legitimate starters at 1-3 positions I was demanding he “win” FA. Look, they went after Boling and Michael Johnson for a reason. Are you really telling me that if they managed to sign those guys it would’ve been a bad offseason? And if not, then aren’t you admitting this offseason could have been better? And most of the questions about the draft I’ve seen haven’t been complains about how “sexy” it was. It’s been questions about can Wayne can play in the NFL when his scheme in Michigan really limited what he was required to do, or wanting to get a real playmaker to help BW in his development.
