2014 Minnesota Vikings: Adrian Peterson Will Plead Not Guilty, Other Vikings Off-Field News
Just like the headline says, Peterson will enter a plea of “not guilty” at the court day today, according to Ben Goessling at ESPN.
Mary Flood, spokesperson for Rusty Hardin said if court asks for plea tomorrow from Peterson, “it will very definitely be not guilty.”

Flood says lawyer Rusty Hardin and Peterson hope a trial date is discussed, but don’t know yet how the court docket looks. — Ben Goessling (@GoesslingESPN) October 7, 2014
So unless Peterson is able to get a quick trial date — and beat the charges — it probably means his 2014 season is over. — Ben Goessling (@GoesslingESPN) October 7, 2014
Nothing new to add to Goessling’s piece on that issue. This is technically separate, but probably not happening entirely coincidentally at the same time, as some details, perhaps misreported, about his charity have surfaced. In the mean time, Tom Johnson we know was arrested for disorderly conduct and whatnot, but I had yet to update the story with more details. I’ll use Goessling’s Twitter to do the work for me, because his Twitter page is currently open in my browser:
According to police report, police used chemical spray and a stun gun on Tom Johnson when he refused to leave Seven after bar close Sunday.

David Koch, manager at Seven, said Tom Johnson was waiting to get his car from valet early Sunday morning. Didn’t think Johnson was impaired

Koch, on Johnson getting tasered and maced: “He’s a big man. People on the force are taught to be careful whatever way they need to.”

Nothing particularly earth-shattering, just more details.
