With two games now under their belts, the 2016 Minnesota Vikings rookie class look like a bunch of savvy veterans out on the field. Well ok, not quite.

But Last week’s preseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks gave the young Vikings another opportunity to remind their team why they drafted them. In their second NFL game, some of Minnesota’s rookies made the most of their time on the field while others barely even got a shot to get their cleats dirty.

Based on some of the recent reactions to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater missing a preseason game last Thursday against the Seattle Seahawks due to shoulder soreness, some would have thought he broke his face and was going to miss the entire 2016 regular season.

But he did not, and he is still on track to open the season as the Vikings’ starter for their Week 1 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. As long as Minnesota does not let him try and clean his own cleats with a pair of scissors, he should be good to go for the team’s first game.

Minnesota Vikings Teddy Bridgewater Injury

Teddy Bridgewater has a mysterious and sudden shoulder injury. Matt Kalil bowed out of practice Sunday. Brandon Fusco has a neck. Who the heck knows about Mike Harris. Sharrif Floyd and Eric Kendricks are perpetually banged up. Jarius Wright has a calf. Tre Roberson has a broken hand. Xavier Rhodes has a hamsting. WHAT IS HAPPENING?! WHY CAN WE NOT HAVE NICE THINGS?

Austin Belisle (@austincbelisle) of Vikings Territory joins me again to talk Teddy, preseason, and Vikings as we mercifully rumble towards the regular season.
