This year’s NFL offseason is shaping up to be one of the most memorable in recent history. Not only have CBA talks advanced, the Combine shed light on an incredibly deep wide receiver class and an unprecedented group of quarterbacks including Dak Prescott, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers and Teddy Bridgewater is set to hit free agency. It’s an offseason that has the potential to change the landscape of the NFL.

Five Minnesota Vikings were added to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday, the team announced. Quarterback Kirk Cousins, fullback CJ Ham, defensive end Everson Griffen, linebacker Eric Kendricks and cornerback Xavier Rhodes were added as alternates to the all-star game. That makes eight players from the Vikings to make the 2020 Pro Bowl.
Due to San Francisco’s 37-20 victory over Green Bay and subsequent Super Bowl appearance, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk will not be able to attend the Pro Bowl. Shortly after the NFC Championship Game, his alternate was announced. Minnesota Vikings fullback CJ Ham will take his place.

He may have been snubbed from receiving First-Team All-Pro honors, but Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter was named to the 2019 Pro Football Writers of America All-NFL team on Monday. It was Hunter’s second consecutive selection as a PFWA All-NFL’er. Hunter was one of two defensive ends chosen for the team, along with the Saints’ Cameron Jordan.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen was an active participant in the team’s first practice after the bye week on Tuesday. That was not the case on Wednesday.Thielen missed Wednesday’s practice because of what Courtney Cronin of ESPN referred to as a “slight scare” with his hamstring stemming from the team’s short practice on Tuesday.
