At this rate, the Minnesota Vikings are on the verge of having a Super Bowl caliber roster and actually keeping it together for years under the salary cap — that’s simply amazing.
There’s plenty of positions that could be addressed in the draft. The Vikings have made headlines this offseason. By signing free agents Kirk Cousins and Sheldon Richardson and trading for Trevor Siemian, the team has shored up its quarterback position and strengthened an already-stout defensive line.
Mike Zimmer, the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, spoke to reporters at the NFL coaches’ breakfast in Orlando, Florida Tuesday. He addressed a few interesting topics, like how he’ll get to know the team’s new franchise quarterback, and the team’s feelings regarding Teddy Bridgewater post-injury.
It’s a one-year deal. The Minnesota Vikings continued to dish out big money on Thursday, agreeing to terms on a contract with free agent DL Sheldon Richardson. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN it’s a one-year deal for Richardson.
