bump & run

After a mic-related false start last week, Bump & Run returns, buoyed by determination and some electrical tape.

This week, I’m popping champagne to celebrate the NFC North title and the demise of the Packers. We bask in schadenfreude after Green Bay is officially eliminated from the playoffs, reliving the exact moment it happened and discussing what it means for the team. Then, we take a look at the Vikings/Packers game and discuss how much it actually means at this point.

Plus, I examine the three most common criticisms of Case Keenum, and attempt to alleviate the concerns of Vikings fans. Of course, I end with a desperate plea to enjoy the season, because no matter what happens, it’s been a blast so far.

Also I wear a Bob Ross shirt.

I’m back in garage studio, battling a wicked cold (this is basically my Jordan flu game), but committed to bringing you an episode…every few weeks or so. This week, we discuss my alleged asinine assertion that Case Keenum was solid against the Browns, plus determining the appropriate time(s) to shut up as a fan.

The Vikings are a good team, and there’s no reason we shouldn’t have happy thoughts about 2017 (aside from decades of Vikings-related heartbreak, but…hey, what do you do?). In the end, we’re all Vikings fans, and the season opener marks the occasion when we must put lay down our #TeamGloves and #TeamSleeves affiliations (and tridents), and operate as one. For that, my friends, is the path to true fan enlightenment.

Hello, friends. I’m back. I’ve reclaimed my guest bedroom studio just in time for draft week, and am excited to bring you this draft preview edition of Bump & Run.

In this episode, I explain why we can and should still get excited about the draft, despite the Vikings not having a first round pick. I also discuss why drafting for need is not the enemy, and how every NFL team does in fact consider need when drafting. Plus, I give my top three draft needs for the Vikings, which are:
