bump and run

I’m back in garage studio, battling a wicked cold (this is basically my Jordan flu game), but committed to bringing you an episode…every few weeks or so. This week, we discuss my alleged asinine assertion that Case Keenum was solid against the Browns, plus determining the appropriate time(s) to shut up as a fan.

Football’s back, and it’s time to party. We bring you this special season preview episode of Bump & Run to call for an end to offseason bickering and lay out my reasons for positivity heading into Week 1.

The Vikings are a good team, and there’s no reason we shouldn’t have happy thoughts about 2017 (aside from decades of Vikings-related heartbreak, but…hey, what do you do?). In the end, we’re all Vikings fans, and the season opener marks the occasion when we must put lay down our #TeamGloves and #TeamSleeves affiliations (and tridents), and operate as one. For that, my friends, is the path to true fan enlightenment.

Hello, friends. I’m back. I’ve reclaimed my guest bedroom studio just in time for draft week, and am excited to bring you this draft preview edition of Bump & Run.

In this episode, I explain why we can and should still get excited about the draft, despite the Vikings not having a first round pick. Greetings, my friends. In this final episode of our inaugural season, I put a bow on the 2016 campaign by handing out grades to the different Vikings position groups. I also pay tribute to Captain Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger and Chris Hansen of “To Catch a Predator.” All this and more in our postseason wrap-up.

I’d also like to thank those who tuned in this season. This was an experiment of sorts and a labor of love for me, but I had fun doing it every week and it was really cool to hear/read people’s reactions. Hope I made you smile at least a few times as we got through this weird year together.

Bump & Run will most likely return in 2017, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we check in now and then during the offseason, too. Expect VT TV to continue expanding into the new year.

We’ve reached it, my friends. Rock bottom. The depths of darkness. The squad needed a win to keep the playoff hopes (realistically) alive, and instead they laid an egg. With two games to go, the season has gone with a whimper.

But there are things to be thankful for. Please join me in sorting through the mess, and grappling with what it truly means to be a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. We can get through this together.
