Well, the time has come for the Warwas family to leave Alaska after 8 great years. Moving to Bowling Green, Ohio (or somewhere near there) and am excited about catching some walleye and once again seeing live football.
Anybody on here in that area?

A very hard decision to make, but we felt that the circumstances and timing made too much sense for our family right now. Alaska will be greatly missed by our family, and I will always have a hankering to return, but the cost of living was simply causing this young family to simply spin its wheels financially. And, especially now with kiddos in the picture, it was a priority to get closer to family.
I accepted a position with an electric utility in the Bowling Green area doing essentially what I do now.
And, yes, while I will have to lean on Brett even more than normal during the opening weeks of this season (when we move), VT will always be a priority for me

Can sure understand where you're coming from, Adam. We have all had to make those kinds of decisions, and they are seldom easy ones. I am sure you have a bunch of details to address in the weeks ahead. Especially now as a grandparent, I am glad to hear those little ones of yours will be closer to your families. That's good for everyone. Good news about VT as well!

Good luck with the move and welcome back to the 48! A short move just about sent Mrs. COvike over the edge dealing with young kids, so give that wife of yours plenty of support through the process!

Hopefully you will have a great move, this might mean that I will have a possibility of visiting you, when I'm (if plans goes accordingly) visiting USA. I think it will be sometimes during the spring of 2013, hopefully you'll have time for a guest
