I won't guess the list, but I find it incredible that any one of those guys had 6 TD's and 24 INT's in their first season, with a passing pct. of 38. Talk about a rookie who had to develop thick skin! Wow!
Brett, I AM wondering if Sck is Sacks and SckY is yards lost on Sacks. If so, how would someone lose 416 yards if they had 0 sacks? Must be something I'm missing. Also, is it really true that many of them went their full rookie year without a fumble, or was that stat not separated back in the good old days of the NFL?
Indeed it is a good reason to cut him some slack...
The 6/24 (TD/INT) is Terry Bradshaw. Must have been a tough Rookie year.
Yeah, I don't know about the 0 sacks but 416 sack yards... Doesn't quite make sense. I'll have to try and find Tarkenton's rookie year stats somewhere else... I imagine it's just a mistake. It seems, though, that they weren't tracking the 'fumbles' and 'fumbles lost' stats earlier in the league. You'll notice only Ponder and Brady have them.
