Well, I've disabled the functionality to upload your own images. I didn't want to have tons of images uploaded to the site in the possibility that we may get bigger. But, if it's something that you guys really want, I can add it back.

The other option is just finding an image you like on the web (you can use Google Image search) and copy/pasting the url for the picture into the "Link off-site" field. You can even specify through Google that you want an image that is 150 x 150 (the size constraints for the avatars). Otherwise, if should resize the image for you itself.

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Avatar > Link Off-Site

I have also uploaded a few basic avatars to the gallery. You can see these by going to:

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit Avatar > Display Gallery

I'd be open to adding more images to this gallery. In fact, I'd love to if you guys have some recommendations. Let me know what you want through a private message or something if all of this is just too much!

Just tried it. It works. You'll have to make sure your image is no larger than 150 x 150. Nothing I can do about that.
