Personally, I like a coach who is using his time on the sidelines to think, and if people don't believe Leslie is doing that during those motionless times, I believe they are sorely mistaken. Consider Dungy, Billicek, Reid, Tomlin, McCarthy, Lovie... Go back to Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, Chuck Noll, Chuck Knox, these people are under control during a game. Now there were others more animated to be sure, but Leslie's demeanor is not a problem for a coach. And playing with elevated emotion can be good at times, but it can also be harmful. The Lions' emotional play is killing them right now. I believe guys at the pro level should know the required level of energy they need to bring to a game, while keeping their emotions in check.
