Lose-Lose Situation?

Lose-Lose Situation?

Postby Brett A. » Sat Nov 19, 2011 7:25 pm

I'm torn. I never like to see our Vikings lose... it sucks. Losing on Sunday has been known to completely ruin my day...

BUT

Should it anymore? After our last, pathetic outing against the Packers that pushed our draft position up to #5, we're sitting pretty nice for a good draft pick. Should I be happier if we lose from here on out? Is it really better for the team?

I'd like to hear from all of you what your plans are for there rest of the season? Are you still rooting for the team to win? Would you like them to solidify our #5 pick, or perhaps even move higher, by losing?

How do you plan on rooting the rest of the season?

Always root to win. Draft picks are what they are. Players play to win, a fan should root to win and be pissed when they don't.

If we are 2-13, I will be rootin like a pig to win.

Yeah. I say "I'm torn"... but today was proof that I'm really not. No way I could root for the Vikes to lose. I was as passionate about it as ever today (see: my other post about almost getting into it with the Raider fans that infiltrated our Viking bar).

Im with Carter here, no way I could ever root for the Vikings to lose. Its fun to speculate about draft picks, but winning is what its all about. Win as many as you can and let the picks fall where they may....

There is no way, NO WAY what so ever I can ever accecpt a Viking loss. a loss on sunday, nearly runs me entire monday (well also in part because when they play late and loose I will stay up untill 5.30 in the morning, just to see a defeat)
I understand that we will be getting a better draft pick, but honestly I would MUCH rather just win games

They used to ruin my day a lot more... lately I guess I've just been getting used to it. Still agree - definitely no fun and would rather have a win.
