Stupid move by Sean Payton?

I just read that Payton will apeal the leagues decision to suspend him for 1 year.
- I think it's a stupid move, cause the league rarely lowers suspensions when somebody apeals, and this way the bounty scandale will just be taking more media time. Therefore it will also just hurt the organisation even more.
- I know he hopes to win and get reduced his suspension, but as said, that is highly unlikely to happen.
what do you think about his move?
