The Vikings made a number of roster moves following their rookie minicamp over the weekend. The minicamp included players from the team’s draft class, undrafted free agent signings and rookie tryout players. Ultimately, the team signed three players after the weekend event:

The Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday officially announced the team would NOT be picking up Laquon Treadwell’s fifth-year option. Treadwell, 23, is entering his fourth season with the team. The option would have cost the Vikings $10.162 million in 2020.

The Minnesota Vikings on Monday officially announced the signing of ten rookie free agents. Rookie free agents are players coming out of college that were not drafted over the weekend. With the signings made official, the team now has 89 players, one short of the 90-man offseason maximum.

The Minnesota Vikings have added yet another former player of the Alliance of American Football league.According to NFL Draft Diamonds the Vikings will sign defensive end Karter Schult. Schult, 25, was a standout for the Salt Lake City Stallions of the AAF. In eight games Schult took down the quarterback seven times, which was good for third in the league.
