Fresno State’s QB Derek Carr takes on USC in the Las Vegas Bowl. USC has a solid defensive front, so it will be interesting to see if Derek can rise to the occasion and prove he is worthy of a top 10 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

I don’t think the last three weeks are a fluke. Frazier knows how to finish a season strong and the Vikings offense has looked balanced and efficient under Cassel’s leadership. If Adrian Peterson is back in the lineup Sunday, I think the Vikings will have a sporting chance to control the tempo against a Bengals’ defense that has been ravaged by injuries.

I’m counting on another engaging contest between the Vikings and the Bears this Sunday. A week 13 win just seems fitting! Wins have been few and far between lately… so why not enjoy this one?

I think Erin has good instinct against the run. He lines up deep off the line of scrimmage most of the time, but he is quick enough in his read and reaction to still constantly be in position to makes tackles for loss or no gain.

The Vikings have played hard, overcame some adversities, made plays, and put themselves in a position to win both games, but miscues, inconsistent play and poor execution has shown it’s ugly head much too often for the Vikings to secure a win.
