  1. I still disagree with BJ about Easton – his pass blocking has been very good and his run-blocking seems to be getting better – and Sirles being decent players, but I will grant that they both might be better coming off the bench. Maybe Isidora is a future starter, but I’m guessing that if he is, it will be at RG as Berger’s replacement. Frankly, I wouldn’t mind seeing a high draft pick spent on a LG if the QB situation resolves itself before the draft.

Had to laugh at the idea of Everson Griffin getting so amped up over not facing Joe Thomas that he gets a false start on the first play of the game. I’d love to see Treadwell get a TD, but I wouldn’t mind Thielen getting one, too!

    • CKA – This is definitely a topic that is debatable. I haven’t ever been impressed with Nick Easton, but I’m willing to concede that he likely offers the most consistency next Riley Reiff, which is valuable to some extent. What I like most about Danny Isidora here is that there isn’t a significant drop-off from Easton or Sirles, and he has a somewhat undetermined and intriguing ceiling. That said, I agree it’s far more likely he finds a home at right guard and the Vikings target a left guard early in the draft.

Haha, I love Everson. Take the good with the bad all day long.
