Yesterday, the Minnesota Vikings released their full 2015 regular season schedule, a 16-game slate filled with intriguing opponents and potentially crucial end-of-the-year matchups.

Tomorrow, Brent will share his predictions for each game, previewing everything from the Monday Night Football opener against the San Francisco 49ers to the season finale at Lambeau Field.

Today, it’s your turn to decide the fate of the Minnesota Vikings.

We’ve yet to hit the NFL Draft or training camp, meaning much can change between now and September 14, but fans are eager to imagine Teddy Bridgewater and company competing for a playoff spot.

Before the Week 5 bye, the Vikings open the season with a difficult stretch of games. They’ll travel to San Francisco, then host the Lions and Chargers before heading to Denver for a matchup with the Peyton Manning-led Broncos.

After a week off, they’ll face the Chiefs at home, then hit the road for two divisional games against the Lions and Bears. Minnesota hasn’t won a game in Chicago since 2007, but this may be the year Mike Zimmer’s team breaks the losing trend.

Then, they’ll head back to TCF Stadium to take on the Rams, followed by a second trip to the Bay Area for a matchup with the Oakland Raiders and their second-year quarterback, Derek Carr.

The Vikings’ first game with the Green Bay Packers comes November 22 at home, and kicks off arguably Minnesota’s toughest regular season stretch. They’ll travel to Atlanta, then host Seattle before a Thursday Night Football showdown four days later with the Arizona Cardinals.

With three games left and a potential playoff spot on the line, the Vikings finish the year hosting the Bears and Giants before the regular season finale in Green Bay.

Last year, without Adrian Peterson and under the direction of first-year head coach Mike Zimmer, the Vikings finished the season 7-9. While disappointing on the surface, it left many optimistic about the future, especially after seeing the performances of players like Teddy Bridgewater, Anthony Barr, and Xavier Rhodes.

In his second season, Zimmer has a chance to take the Vikings above and beyond set expectations. A 7-9 record isn’t out of the question, but the organization has the opportunity to surprise many with a winning record.

We’re months away from the start or “real” football, but that won’t stop the masses from speculating! Take our poll and tell us how you think the Vikings will finish the regular season! Will they end the year worse, the same, or better than in 2014? Are the playoffs a realistic possibility? Get the conversation going in the comments below!
